Feruz Dglel Tesfay
Founder and President
Feruz is a 3rd year International Business student who is passionate about Youth Empowerment, Leadership, and Community Development. She is excited about providing a platform for young leaders to challenge themselves, to contribute to the community, and to excel to their full potential. In her free time, she loves to play sports, dance, going biking, going to the gym, and eating a lot of food.

Roushikha Maunick
Executive Vice President
Ruky is a third-year BComm student majoring in Accounting. She is excited about being able to make a difference – not just by helping children but also by getting people involved in SSIC cause and spreading awareness throughout the community. Her biggest goal is to set the club up for success – that means making sure SSIC is working smoothly and providing assistance to everyone. In her free time, she loves cooking, reading, and listening to music.

Thomas Habte
Vice Present Public Relations
Tomas Habte is a fourth-year Supply Chain Management student. He is excited about making a positive impact in the community. His goal is to get SSIC established so it is a well-known club with business students but with other Carleton students too. In his free time, he likes to listen to music and watch tv shows.

Ayaan Saigal
Vice President Finance
Ayaan is a 3rd-year finance student. He is excited to be a part of the global change SSIC is working towards. His goal is to perform outside his comfort zone. With the help of SSIC, he wants to be able to build a platform of helping other people and striving towards building a socially empathetic world. In his free time, he loves gaming, cooking, and trying various artistic stuff.

Allison Lee
Youth Empowerment Consultant
Allison Lee is a third-year management student. she is excited to grow with SSIC and positively impact the communities locally and globally. Her biggest goal is to ensure that she works and connects with the community that is most need of help with. She plans to challenge herself to go above and beyond in all the actions she takes to help those communities. In her free time, she loves being active and go hiking, biking, or going to the gym, and most importantly, enjoying food with friends.

Burhan Bedawala
Vice President of Marketing
Burhan is a 3rd-year business student who is majoring in entrepreneurship at Carleton. He is most excited about spreading awareness and increasing engagement within the Carleton community through the different support programs offered by SSIC. His biggest goal is to influence everyone to support the underprivileged and take part so that we can make a contribution towards the betterment of society as a whole. In his free time, he loves to cook, play soccer or video games as well as hang out with his friends.

Josée Lachance
Vice President of Events
Josée is in her 3rd year of International Business with a minor in German. As the VP of Events, she looks forward to supporting this team in providing education, resources, and a means to make a positive social impact on the community through events both online and in-person. Her biggest goal is to learn how to navigate online event management and planning to ensure success in the fall semester and beyond. In her free time, she loves to go on long bike rides, travel, read, and try out new restaurants around Ottawa.

Anosha Qureshi
Director of Finance
Anosha is a 3rd-year finance student who is most excited about working with the SSIC to successfully complete goals and give back to the wonderful community. Her goal is to ensure that all members feel welcome to share their ideas and that a proper budget is set aside to execute planned projects. She is also quite adventurous, loves her music, and enjoys the comfort of her close friends.

Aditi Mohan
Director of Public Relations
Aditi Mohan is a third-year Bachelor of Commerce student who is in the Management concentration. She is most excited about creating invaluable connections and is looking forward to using her business knowledge in creating change. Her biggest goal during her time in SSIC will be to use this platform to connect underprivileged individuals with the necessary help needed. In her free time, she loves cooking, hiking, and hanging out with friends.

Gabrielle Kolotinsky
Director of Finance
Gabrielle Kolotinsky is a Bachelor of Commerce student with a Concentration in Finance and a Minor in Economics. She is excited to work alongside passionate and driven individuals to create a difference in our local and global communities. She hopes to provide a unique perspective given her diverse volunteer and work experience. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, painting, and reading. She is also currently learning Hebrew.

Marie Kelly
Director of Public Relations
Marie is a second-year BComm student concentrating in Accounting. She is excited to be a part of SSIC and to continue the club’s work creating positive change both locally and globally. Her goals are to get more Sprott students involved with SSIC and to promote the club within the school. In her free time, Marie enjoys running, dancing, and listening to music.

Ruchika Godhwani
Director of Events
Ruchika is a third-year BCOM student specializing in Supply Chain Management. She is most excited about the fact that I will be working with a wonderful team that will help me grow and help people who are in need around us. Her biggest goal during her time in SSIC would be to spread awareness about issues happening around the world. Not everyone is educated about the smallest issues, hence she believes SSIC would allow her to spread the word in a fun way. During her free time, she loves cooking new recipes and making TikTok videos.

Julia Gros
Director of Marketing
Julia is a 2nd year International Business student, minoring in French. She is most excited to work alongside the rest of the SSIC team members and helping make a positive impact in the community. Her biggest goal is to help SSIC expand, so the club has the opportunity to make a larger positive impact. In her free time, she loves skating and spending time with friends and family.

Mario Aloysius
Director of Events
Mario is in BCom, Entrepreneurship. He is excited about all the events that are going to be planned and executed. He looks forward to working with the SSIC team. His biggest goal is to bring awareness to the issues faced in third world countries to the Carleton community by organizing informative and entertaining events. Matthew Roach
Director of Marketing
Matthew is a 2nd-year BComm student majoring in Accounting. He is most excited about trying something new and getting to make a difference in the world by spreading awareness of SSIC and it’s initiatives. His biggest goal is to continue the growth of SSIC and spread awareness of the club throughout the entirety of Sprott and the Carleton community. In his free time, he likes to play and watch sports, and spend time with his dog Bender
Kayla Young
Social Committee Head
Kayla Young is a 1st-year BComm, specializing in Accounting. She is excited to provide a safe space for SSIC members to feel valued and included. Her goal is to learn more about social issues present in the community and help others to see the widespread impact that our actions can have. During her free time, she likes to bake, learn new instruments or languages

Pawandeep Kaur
Director of Merchandise
Pawan is in her 2nd-year of Bcom. She is excited to design fun merchandise and contribute towards a cause that she believes in with her entire heart.
